How far away from a laptop can the Magic Mouse be and still have good response? The cursor jumps around a lot with my current bluetooth mouse when I am only about three feet away.

I tried out the range of my Magic Mouse the other night (because, clearly, I don't have anything better to do with my life) and basically found that it still worked when I was as far away as I could possibly get and still be in my house. It's still working even when I'm too far away to see the screen properly, let alone the cursor...
