I thought it might be cool to do a thread on ranking your Apple Watch vs. the other watches in your collection. Pictures or just #-# ranking would work.

I guess rank according to your absolute favorite to least favorite (obviously meaning you still like it if you bought it)
Or rank according to most used/worn? All up to you.

I think it would be interesting to see what collections others have and how their watch has faired against them getting wrist time!

I'll go first!

1. Apple Watch SS 42mm SS link Bracelet
2. Movado series 800 leather strap

Only two watches I still have to this point. Before this I've thrown out my other Guess, G-shock and MK watches I got when I was younger or gave them to my younger nephews and nieces.

My movado was my favorite piece of jewelry until my AW arrived and since then I haven't put on the movado even though it's a beautiful watch IMO and I love it.

Let's see those collections!

1. Apple Watch Sport with Blue Sport Band/HOCO Stainless Steel Link Bracelet

2. iPhone 6: I used to use my iPhone as my watch.

3. I don't own any more watches.

1. Apple Watch sport space grey BSB
2. Citizen Eco drive black
3. Citizen Eco drive silver (with date which I ignore)

Other watches I've owned in recent years:
Seiko perpetual - date was always right but battery must be replaced by a jeweler
Bulova - battery was a pain to replace
Rolex (clone) automatic - self winding but wore out after a few years

Should we rank by which one we are wearing daily?

For me is
1) Apple Watch
last) for all others, Rolex, Omega, Sector, Tissot, take your picks. They all all in dark drawer, only for occasionally checking make sure they are still there and is still moving.

1. Panerai Luminor Marina
2. Rolex Yachtmaster II
3. various others, including mechanical, automatics, quartz and my Apple watch in SS

The Apple watch is a nice piece of tech, but at the same time I cannot help feeling it is somewhat tacky to wear in any formal setting.
Sort of like when you see the hicks with their bluetooth earpiece and mullets...;)

Haha awesome collection man. Can I ask why you rank your Panerai over the Yachtmaster II?

Just asking cause that is my favorite Rolex so if you're ranking the Panerai over it I have to ask why lol

:apple: Watch first by a mile.

Pebble Watch a far distant second. (I still wear it at night while my :apple: Watch is charging.)

All other watches a extremely far distant third.

Thanks!
I rate the panerai higher because I love the simple, no nonsense face, the traditional styling and my Mario Paci crocodile leather band.
That, and it was my first higher end time-piece:)

Oh and I bought an Apple watch, but got bored with its soullesness and leave it in a drawer somewhere

For daily wear:
1) Watch
2) Seiko SKX009
3) Rado Centrix ('cuz gold PVD and diamonds equals BLING)
4) Citizen atomic-solar (used to be my daily wearer until I got the ones above)
5) G-Shock
6) Dad's vintage Omega (can't 100% trust its waterproof-ness)
7) Grandpa's Bulova Minuteman

For working out:
1) Watch
2) Garmin 410
3) G-Shock
4) SKX009

For dressing up:
1) Omega
2) Watch (bumps to #1 if I need navigation to the event)
3) Rado
4) Citizen
5) SKX009 (rarely worn to look nice, but it's pretty cool at the office)

More in-depth comparison, with pics, in my older thread:

1, Rolex Daytona 2013 bi metal
2, Hublot big bang limited edition 301rx tuiga 1909
3, Rolex Daytona 2009 stainless steel
4, Apple Watch
5, Rolex Submariner 2013 bi metal

Then the last couple which are in no order tbh.

That's tough because that Movado is a beauty. Maybe it's the look of the stainless steel with the link band that doesn't give enough contrast. If you used a dark leather band with your AW it might make it a competitor to your Movado

How many arms do you have!?

I always wear a watch and my Apple Watch is worn most days but I usually swop over to one of the others at some time during the day. Listed in order of recent use, there's nothing too fancy but I like them. :)

It's a shame you got a dud of an Apple Watch. Mine has plenty of soul.
