You are not wrong, mister, at all. Let’s think only about how much data they have in terms of face recognition and fingerprint… they are literally the second public CIA… and Apple can easily have remote access to all information on your device, like 100%…
Fingerprint and facial recognition stuff is tucked away in the secure enclave on the phone. Neither Apple nor anyone else have access to it.

For sure, all these big tech companies have a lot of your data. Unlike the others, though, it is not Apple's primary business model to collect and exploit it, in comparison to, say, Google.

Disappearing Navigation Bars

I love this, and I really wish they brought this to the iPad!!! I feel we should be able to configure a top or bottom navigation bar in safari on the iPad just like the iPhone. It just makes it so much easier.

Message backgrounds is the most useful. Subtly trolling the groups you are in is invaluable. Everything else seems fine. I like glass.

I’ve always been critical of Apple, so it’s only fair to give them credit when it’s due. Sure, people can point out that Android had some of these features years ago—but I have to say, I’m really enjoying iOS 26.

The new Liquid Glass effect, the related visual touches, the CarPlay upgrades, and the phone/message app improvements that filter out junk have all made a noticeable difference. It’s been a genuinely positive experience, and I appreciate Apple for delivering it. Hopefully, this is just the start of even more great features to come later this year and beyond.

Hi there.

If you go into Settings>Apps>Messages and scroll down to 'Unknown Senders' is 'Screen Unknown Senders' and 'Filter Spam' toggled on?

It's worked for me - I keep getting mass RCS spam (TikTok HR are really wanting staff...!) and they've gone straight into my Spam folder.
Thanks for trying to help me here. I just checked and both of those settings are on. Still, i got messages that are clearly spam but they didnt go into the Spam folder. I thought there would be an option, just like with email, to move messages into junk and then next time they would automatically go to spam. But i dont see any setting like that. And i cant move those messages into the spam folder manually, i tried. And because they are spam, when i block the number, nothing really happens because for some reason, they are not numbers,, they use names in their sending messages. I have no clue how that even works. Some businesses do that too, but for legit sms, but the spam ones do it as well and those name number cannot be blocked. Any other thoughts?

Silence Unknown Callers needs to be a widget, or a toggle in the Control Center. If you are expecting a call from someone (for example, an electrician or plumber) who may otherwise be an unknown number, you currently have to go into Settings->Apps->Phone->etc. to disable it. I have been “suggesting” this to Apple for years, to no avail.
