Hi there,

I am a graphic designer and photographer and a client has asked if i could design and build a website for them. Back at uni i used dreamweaver and frontpage but the coding aspect didn’t appeal to me at all. I’d prefer to use rapidweaver (or even freeway) to get the job done..... but here is my question.

I had to sign a release stating that I would not discuss the actual website topic or finer details of the project so please excuse me for being somewhat vague on certain things. The website needs to be able to allow customers to login to the website with their own specific username and password so they can add images and text that relates to them on this topic. So does rapidweaver, stacks etc etc allow me to build such a site where multiple users can do this without being able to modify other users information - essentially user access and profiles…

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Rapidweaver for multiple user logins

Question, did you create the web site with Rapidweaver and find a tool to manage multiple login's to a client section of the site?
I would like to add this capability to my site which I built with RapidWeaver, I would like to avoid having to maintain an extensive database of names and passwords if at all possible.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks,

Resolution

Well just to update my last post, I downloaded and have been testing Lockdown by Loghound, http://www.loghound.com/lockdown/ it seams to be doing exactly what I need. I recommend checking the Faq's on Lockdown prior to downloading, some users have experienced some issues when the hosting OS is windows.

Hope this helps.
