Should Snow Leopard be able to decompress a rar compressed file by default? I tried to do that, it didn't work (actually tried to open the compressed file in textedit) and had to download a free rar uncompresser. Anyone know for sure?

I never heard anything about native support in the first place. Also, UnRarX seems to be working fine.

I don't think any OS has native .rar support? Usually requires a third-party application. UnRarX works perfect.

Thanks. Yah, I tried UnrarX and it works fine. Thanks again.
