Recommendations for software good for opening .rar files
Rar Expander is free and it works well enough.
I like The Unarchiver. It opens .rar files plus a lot more. Plus, it's one of those lightweight, stays-out-of-the-way apps. If that makes any sense.
I think you'll find Zipeg will open .rar files, and has the icon of a sheep. Making it the clear winner.
