I just got a weird coin from the change they gave me at the local supermarket.

    1862 10 Cents from Denmark.

    front of coin:

    KONGE AE DANMARK

    FREDERIK VII

    back of coin:

    DANSK VESTINDISK MONT

    10 CENTS

    Any coin collectors here?

I can't help you determine what type of coin is that because I'm also a newbie on coin collection. I just started this hobby these past few month. I can only recommend you a site that I found lately. This site helps me a lot in finding information about coins. They also have links to different coin collectors where you can ask questions on coin related stuff. This site is http://www.2-clicks-coins.com.

Hope this site can help you find an answer to your problem.
