Hello everybody,

I have an Ipod Dock from 2011 that has special movie themed appearance and according to my knowledge (and heavy googling about the subject) this kind of Docks were never sold anywhere. Only a handful of copies were printed (worldwide) to promote comic book related movie that was released in 2011 (X-Men: First Class). I've not even managed to find any pictures of this kind of Dock with google so I am certain it's rare item.

I won this item from movie related competition and don't own Ipod so this device is new and unused. Even the cardboard packaging it comes in is themed according to the movie and it includes all the cords and necessary stuff to function.

If this is in the wrong place apologies for that, seeking advice on price and where to sell this kind of item, supposedly there's some people who value or collect rare treats such as(?). I'll take few pictures and add here in a while.

PS. Not native English speaker so if any typos, please overlook them. :D

If this is anything to go by, not much - though it likely depends on who you're selling to. Either ipod dock collectors or X-Men collectors. You may need to set a price and wait for quite some time for the right buyer.

Looks like it's a genuine licensed product from this company, perhaps they know how many were produced:

And China manufacturer for base product - note order quantities.

Agreed, likely not worth much, as it's not an Apple-made product. Apple collectors tend to not care too much about random third party stuff, unless it has some special provenance other than "made for a movie release."
