Hello
I have just bought a Macbook Pro 15, matte

From the moment I switch it on, from the right hand side, where apparently is the fan, comes a constant, low WIND-like noise. All the time.

Occasionally there is also a RATTLING noise. The rattle can be continuous. Or, like now, it rattles for a couple of seconds, then nothing for 5 or 10 seconds and it rattles. However, if I stop typing this message.... then the intermittent rattle seems to stop. The only application that is open on it right now is my Google Chrome browser. But the rattle comes to life at other times; for instance, with Google earth it is constantly rattling.

Any ideas? Thanks

Well it's obviously got something to do with one of your fans. From what you described, my best guess is that it's just when you're applying pressure to your computer it's making something rub one of your fans slightly. Since it's that new, you can always bring it back to the Apple store and show it to them, and they may just replace the computer, or fix the problem. If you can't always reproduce it, get some video of it when it happens at home and bring that in to prove that the problem exists.
