Does anyone have any recommendations for raw photo editing on an iPad Pro (latest)?

I’ve tried photoshop but for some reason I can’t select an object and then blur the background - the Gaussian filter doesn’t seem to do anything at all.

I don’t mind paying, but I really don’t want to get in to a subscription, as I only use my iPad every now and again when travelling and I already have Luminar and Photoshop on my Mac at home. I am actually getting to the point where I’m wondering if it isn’t worth buying a Mac mini to travel with, and use the iPad as a monitor, so I can use the software I already have.

I should add that ideally I don’t want to have to import the photos to my iPad, but rather work off of a connected ssd drive.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at affinity - I don’t really get on with lightroom and it wanting to upload to the cloud. I do understand it can be paused, but somehow I always seem to end up with it saying I am out of space and I need to buy more. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong, but I have better things to do 😂

Yeah, I don't use the cloud upload with LR. I've been using LR on the desktop since its initial beta 20 years ago so I'm all in on it.

I started using Luminar Neo a few years ago when I got into full screen photography, great program.

I used to use Photoshop long time ago and that was the hard way, AI can really help editing photos.

Just got an ipad and I see they have a version for ipad.

Just learning myself so haven't got the app yet, $50.
