RAW Power® 3.0 for iOS/iPadOS is free today.

RAW Power 3.0. The latest version introduces more integration with native macOS and iOS Photos applications and delivers an improved workflow.

RAW Power 3 is the first, and currently only, third-party application to include full support for Apple Photos libraries on macOS and iOS. With this integration, photographers can rate and edit their images on their Mac or iOS devices with full iCloud synchronization.

The software was developed by Nik Bhatt, a former Apple engineer. While at Apple, Bhatt led the iPhone and Aperture teams. Of RAW Power 3, Bhatt says, "RAW Power has gained a strong following among serious photographers for its unique control over Apple's RAW engine, combined with its robust and easy-to-use editing tools."

Exports are definitely watermarked for me. The app is quite clear about this on initial install and on export.
The complete free offer seems to have timed out. But it’s worth every penny if you buy it - I did. 😎 Sadly I saw the free offer on snoops quite late today - otherwise I would posted here earlier.

Looks like I got there in time as nothing is watermarked for me! Cool! What ever was going on was not very explicit though.

When I read the thread I went to download it. I read the info on the AppStore and it said it’s an unlimited free trial with watermarks as you described. However, when I used the app I had no such warnings, and upon exporting (any format, any location) - there is no watermark. However, there was nothing obviously stating anything when opening the app for the first time. I don’t know what was going on.

Had you previously purchased it?

Yea nice try to boost sales. Bait and switch.
Or offer it free for a day and if you miss it tough luck? Pretty much nothing wrong with that. Everyone in business runs a special now and again.

Plus now regardless if you missed the completely free offer it’s free to try and fully featured rather than a initial purchase, which is what scared me off before.

No. Apparently it was freely available for some time. No offence intended by posting the info. But reading some of the responses here let me think wether… well… it is a great app. Great, engaged and competent developer. IMHO the best DAM with a single investment on iPadOS. Plus great set of tools.

Be happy and enjoy photographing!

Disclaimer: no affiliation with the developer of RAW Power (besides owning the app now).

I just got a notification in the app store for an update of my version of Raw Power.

I go to open it and get the following :

Restore Purchases doesn’t work. From the App Store. Not cool.

I downloaded the iPhone version yesterday as I mentioned before, and it’s still all working with no watermarks. I downloaded the iPad version today, and that’s with the free trial and is not the same watermark free trial that I have on the iPhone

Update- I contacted the dev, lovely guy actually. Anyway- it was free for a day, due to some sort of issue with them changing the manner of which the app is sold. It changed from a paid app to a free app with an iap. Not sure but if you missed out then it’s not due some sort of hidden agenda, it was just a one off special. Now it’s completely free to use, with the full (no watermark) unlock for a small fee (10ish add currency here).

I have to say it’s a nice app. I have not determined the quality of the raw conversions yet, I need much more time. BUT - it does have Lr classic-esque abilities that I haven’t found in other iOS apps yet. You can add external devices as referenced libraries. This right here is awesome. Those that know will appreciate it. Try it and spend the tenner if you like it. If I remember and have time I’ll add a mini review on the raw conversion to this thread for those interested.

And the LUT (besides presets) feature is GRAND.
