I never understood what the Pro Pads are for. I know other companies make them as well. Are they just a fancy mouse pad? And why would you want it 2 sided?

A close friend of mine bought on of these and loves it (for what it's worth).

I love the number of buttons, but can't say the same for the price tag.

I was talking to a guy from Tech Superpowers during the BMAC meeting on the second day of MacWorld, and he had bought one the day before. He said he spent several hours playing Quake with it, and he was kicking complete ass thanks to it.
