Hi All,

Need to set up an RDP connection from one of our company's new imacs to a Windows server running Server 2012 and looking for pointers on the best way to do this. On windows machines we setup the connection and just leave a shortcut to it on the users desktop which they double click and it logs them in, is this possible in Mountain Lion?

When connecting you need to make sure to use the FQDN for the server and specify the login domain for the user name. Otherwise, it works almost like RDP from a Windows computer.

There IS a pre-requisite on the server side, related to the type of remote connection you're using. I can't recall what it is exactly but you'll know as soon as you try to connect the first time.
