I'd welcome any feedback regarding Adware Block Plus.

I'm running Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 I was plagued with pop-ups from MacKeeper (even though I never installed it) and I'm trying Adware Block Plus to deal with the pop-ups.

So far, it seems to be working, and I'm not noticing any adverse effects on my system.

Anyone else here that can comment on this?

Don't you mean : AdBlock Plus ?

AdBlock Plus blocks... ads, not adwares.

If you are plagued with pop-ups from MacKeepper, you likely got an adware.

Download and run : AdwareMedic

Sorry, my bad. Yes, I did mean to type AdBlock Plus. And no, I don't have any adware.

I DID, but I cleaned it out.

And as I said (or meant to say) AdBlock Plus seems to have taken care of the pop-up problem.

Now…..is there anyone out there using (or who has used) AdBlock Plus that would like to offer any feedback; good, bad or otherwise.

Adblock Plus is fine, works well. Been using it for years as a Safari Extension and before that as well.

An ad here an there leaks through, but really a very very low percentage.

I switched from Adblock to Adguard on Chrome and it seems very effective. Adguard is available for Safari as well.

I've been using Adblock (not plus) in Chrome and Firefox for years. I love it. Does what I need it to do without fail
