re-install firmware???

Went to the genius bar today to see if they could fix the wifi on my iphone today. It hasn't been working since I upgraded to 1.1.3. He said that I might have dl a corrupt version of the upgrade. When I plugged the phone back in it restored but wifi is broken again. Anyone know how to delete the first upgrade and dl another? Or should I take it back to apple? thanks
