Hey everyone,

Sorry to make a thread about this, but tried to search google but didn't find an exact answer to my question.

My question is: can I safely format my SSD and re-install a fresh mavericks, because of the different build number for the haswell 13" rMBP has (13A2093).

I will download Mavericks from the menu you get when pressing "cmd + R" during system boot, not from bootable usb.

Once again, sorry to make a topic about it, its my first mac and I dont wanna send it in to apple and loose it for a few days.

Thanks ahead.

Yes... Apple's servers will see your serial number and give you the correct version and build number for your machine.
