Re-Jailbreak with Greenpois0n

I'm currently running the latest Beta of redsn0w untethered jailbreak and would really like to try some of these animated boot logos but you have to be jailbroken with Greenpois0n. So is it possible to just run Greenpois0n on my iPhone 4 and gain this ability?

I guess so. I would just run pkgbackup, reinstall 4.2.1 via itunes and then rejailbreak with greenp0ison.

Well I would prefer to avoid that step if I can, takes too long and I'm impatient.

Seeing that a ton a folks have already applied Greenpois0n over Redsn0w to get an untethered JB I don't see how your approach wouldn't work - go for it

In the GP readme it states that you should restore to a fresh 4.2.1 then JB with GP. It might be possible to just run GP over the beta of the redsn0w Monte but you might just run into more trouble than it's worth. Just use PKGBackup or something similar and install 4.2.1 fresh if you want to use GP.
