Have a macbook pro running Leopard 10.5.7

Someone sent me a link and I foolishly clicked on it.

Almost immediately several pub up windows opened and several terminal windows opened and mail attempted to send mail to the above address.

I have changed my gmail password.

Have I now got a viral infection on my mac, should I do a clean install or have I anything to worry about?

Thanks, was worried about it opening the terminal application however. Don;t really understand terminal commands but would imagine they have potential to do a lot of damage.

Have downloaded Little snitch and no untoward processes appear to be running. Can't see anything on activity monitor either.

Will have to keep a close eye on things. Am very cross with person who e mailed me the link.
