I have a new E-Element Z88 81-key keyboard that works very well with my Mac Mini -- with one exception: I keep mistaking the Alt key for the Command (or in the case of this keyboard, the Windows) key, because I'm used to typing on Mac-optimized keyboards. But my Mac Mini doesn't recognize this non-standard keyboard, so I'm not sure what I can do to re-map the keys. Any thoughts?

If you bring up the Mac's keyboard viewer, then press the Windows key, which modifier key (if any) is hilited in the on-screen keyboard display?

Which OS is this on? Exactly which model of Mini? I suspect the OS version will matter more than the Mac model.

If you don't know how to bring up the Keyboard Viewer, try google search terms:
