re-pwning iphone 2G

so I JB'd my 2G iphone with pwnage tool but only did the simple format. I now want to unlock by going advanced. Is there anything I need to know about the process before pwning again or can I just hook up to pwnage tool, select advanced mode and pwn again?

Restore and then pwn again.

I would put it into dfu mode and restore it to a clean firmware before doing anything. Then you will have a fresh slate to pwn and unlock.
