Hello all,

I'm returning my iPhone due to some unforeseen issues, and am making this post to possibly get some assistance.

The site says "Return item by November 30th". I contacted Apple support and they said it meant the iPhone only needed to be entered into the UPS system for return shipping, and not necessarily be received at the Apple return address on the shipping label.

Are they right? Or does the phone actually need to be shipped by the 30th or it'll be too late? Anyone have prior experience in a similar situation?

Thanks!

It needs to be at UPS by the 30th.

Was going to ask the same question. So, just to clarify, it’s when it’s accepted and scanned by UPS that is relevant and not the date it’s back at the Apple depot ?
I’m in the UK with a return date of the 30th, so I could drop it off at my local UPS collection point on the 30th - as long as I make their (the collection point’s) standard delivery daily cut off which I think is 11am.

If you initiate a return online, you have 14 days from that date to return. Otherwise, you have 14 days from the date of purchase, unless you bought the phone during the extended holiday return period.
I initited the return online on the 16th and have until the 30th to return. So if it’s on the UPS system on the 30th the suggestion is that’s ok, on the assumption that it’s probably not going to reach the (Apple) return address until the 1st / 2nd.
