Why do I now need to confirm I want to like a comment? On iOS safari it brings me to a separate page, I click on confirm on “are you sure You want to like this comment” then it brings me back to the top of the page I was reading, subsequently losing where I was reading on the page

I am not able to choose any reaction other than “Like” either.

Terrible feature guys with the confirmations. I’m assuming only being able to use the like reaction is a bug

Are you trying to react on a forum thread, or in the Top Rated Comments section on a news article page? If it's the latter, there's an extra step in the process because news and forums are technically separate.

I get it when trying to like a comment in any news article whether it’s sorted by top likes or just regular sorted. Previously I could just press down on the like, see the different reactions and choose one and that was it. Now it’s a chore to like.
