Help. My iPhone has suddenly stopped syncing my read mail. I use my unread email as a tool to keep track of things to do. Two days ago my phone stopped being in sync with my computer. On the computer I am down to only 5 unread emails but my phone just keeps ticking up. I now have 150 unread emails and it is stressing me out. I have not changed any settings anywhere. I spoke to the IT team at work and no settings have been changed. The email account is a google account.
I have tried marking them all as read (manually) on the phone to try and get it back in line with the computer but it quickly gets out of control.
Tonight I deleted the account on my phone and Set it up as a new account but it immediately shows the 150 unread. As if the phone is not actually deleting the emails when the account is removed.
Has anyone else had this happen in last few days?
