Read/write error

I have 3 G4s networked at my school. They are running OS 9. I have a file I need to transfer from one G4 to another. Every time I try I get a type -40 error. The file I am trying to copy is a Quicktime movie and is a little over 5 gig. I have moved files of several hundred megs with no problem. Every time I try to move a big Quicktime file I get the same error. I am trying to burn an animation we made for the spring musical and am running out of time. Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks for the help in advance.
