Reading List to Instapaper

I'm looking for an automated way to get my Safari Reading List into instapaper on a periodic basis. I have found some methods online but most are old and I'm not sure if they still work. The best guide I've found is http://www.macstories.net/tutorials/automatically-send-articles-from-reading-list-to-instapaper/ but I can't get this to work. I'm a novice and python and some of this was a bit beyond me but I followed it and can't get it to work. I was wondering if anyone has a method of getting Reading List into Instapaper or could explain for a novice (although tech savvy) how I can make it work.
