reading Nero backed up discs on Macbook

Just started on first Macbook. I backed up all my pc files using Nero, as all other back up systems had given up the ghost. 39 gig, 10 DVDs - a lot of time!
Is there any way of reading this info on a mac, or do I need to try a different way (would a high gig memory stick be the answer?)

I'm not sure how Nero handles backups... is it in some strange file format or something? Most of the time you should just be able to get to the files on the disc. Otherwise, just going old school and drag and drop might be the way to go.
