    Hi there,

I have installed VM Fusion that uses WinXP installed under Bootcamp. I used NTFS as the file system for the WinXP.

I have a data folder (with documents, spreadsheets, photos, etc) created under Win XP partition. Any insight on how I can access this data folder from OS X when VM Fusion is running? I can see an "Untitled" drive when VM Fusion is not running, but it disappears when I run VM Fusion.

Thanks in advance for your help

Well one way is to have the virtual machine in a window that is smaller then full screen, and then drag the file(s) from the XP folder to the OSX desktop. You can then use apps in OSX to work on the files.

Putting a file into NTFS XP from OSX takes some planning. There are non-apple applications that let you write to NTFS file systems. I use the network and a SAMBA LINUX file server (a multi step process but I don't do it often so it works for me).
