I decided that i'm ready to buy my first SSD. My system specs are early 2011 15" MBP 2.3 GHz. I'm currently looking at the Corsair Performance Pro 256 GB. I was also thinking about the M4 and Samsung 830. I'm really looking for something that will last a few years and is reliable. I didn't see many reviews on the Corsair Performance Pro. Is anyone using this in their MBP? How would it compare against Samsung 830 and Crucial M4?

I will remove the optical bay and add a caddy.
Main bay - 256GB SSD / 2nd bay 750 GB HDD

Corsair Performance Pro 256 GB - Newegg
Hard Drive Caddy Tray - Amazon

My plan is to Run OS X and Windows on the SDD along with some applications and the rest just general storage in the HDD.

Is anyone running this setup and is their anything I should know first? I just don't want to screw up. I want to do it the right way from the beginning.

I have an Intel 520 series 120gb for my main drive, 80gb for os X and the rest for windows, and then in the optibay I have the 750gb 5400rpm with 575gb for OS X and the rest for windows. Not one problem, as I use the 750gb for my games, movies, and for windows, the Applications.

Lots of people doing that. I installed a Crucial m4 in my main bay and moved the stock 750 gig drive to my Optical bay the day I got my MBP. There is a thread here showing where you can get a 256 gig Agility 3 for $209 from Newegg right now.
