Ready to buy - but which one? Help!

Congratulations!

I have a 20" iMac G5, picked up at the Regent Street Store and then carried/dragged to a nearby car park (damn, the machines heavy). The only additional item I added was a 1GB Ram stick, purchased from Crucial, which I installed myself, following the userguide instructions.

It's a very, very nice machine, both in performance, quietness and sheer beauty.

Finally, I would also suggest going for an Apple BT keyboard and Mouse combo for the ultimate in minimalist computing.

Well, I just placed my order! I'm posting this update, then I'll go scream, jump, cry, fly. I wanted a Mac since I was 12 (I'm 32 now), so you can imagine how I feel right now.

I think that you have every reason to be excited. The iMac G5 is an awesome setup. The extra RAM was very smart. I hope that you purchased AppleCare also. Feeling excited for you also.

Well he's got up to the end of the first year before deciding whether to purchase AppleCare or not so I wouldn't say that particular item was critical at this stage.
