Being a guy carrying two chunky items I figure I could consolidate to a single item that has both functions without sacrificing any style.

Looking for a Louis Vuitton or other designer wallet case. Everything that I see seems to be fake or not an actual wallet case. I looked at Louis Vuitton website (only had slide in/out cases) and Google images which led me to knock offs.

Anyone seen any designer ones? I don't know many other high end brands for guys wallets other than Louis and Gucci.

Edit: searched Neiman Marcus website for iPhone 6 and found nothing. =(

I used to use a Burberry sleeve before, when I had my iPhone 5s, but I have yet to find any decent designer cases for the 6+, heck I havent found one.

Found a wallet case at http://www.lucrin.co.uk/hard-cover-case-iphone-6-plus.htm

The prices are pretty hefty for me, that's why I chose the simple sleeve case - been around 3 months now, and still going strong :D

Oh snap. Crocodile skin and ostrich.

There's the 6 Plus link, however, it is currently out of stock. :(

It looks like the name-brand vendors won't be producing too many cases as the phone models are coming out too fast. It's a very expensive process and the payoff isn't exactly stellar. (Why do you think LV charges $400 for their slip case.)

It would be nice if Apple, Samsung and others would slow down a bit so we can actually enjoy their products for more than 9 months. :p

I'd say $400 for something that costs less than $50 to make is a pretty good mark up. :D

Ah but you're missing the point. Material costs, employee costs, marketing costs -- all go into the price.

Also, it helps when you can produce items with *very little* regard for the employee. :)

It's all about whether its affordable. Because they do enrobe a product with a limited lifespan. Products in the non-digital age lasted very long times, some becoming heirlooms. In those cases, a costly and nice case would, by it's quality, go the distance and prove to be a good buy in the practical sense.
