I was in Atlantic City all week for a conference and went with a few other attendees at 8am on Friday to the Apple Store in Ceasars. We figured the line can't possibly be that bad at a small store early morning in a casino town. We were right.

Anyway, driving home started feeling sick and wound up in the ER with the stomach flu.

Attached to an IV using the iPad for 7 hours nonstop on Verizon LTE. Battery was 74% when I got there and 30% when I left. The iPad was a great companion while sick! Very impressed with LTE.

Awesome...that your iPad was so fantastic, not that you were sick.

Being a heart patient, I've spent quite a few hours in the ER, while the docs ran tests and did their thing, playing with my Apple toys and have never been disappointed. I get on their wifi network and go. LOL

About a year ago I spent 4 days in the hospital with my iPad2 and dilaudid on demand;)

It was AWESOME!:p

Thats right around where I live. Where did you get LTE coverage? Was the hospital at home, or did you go to AtlantiCare?

Was staying in the Sheraton, great LTE from my room. Working all day in the convention center was 3g only.

Went home for the hospital.
