I'm currently torn.
I want to get the leather link for work hours but it's not as though I could work out at the gym with it, which I do every night (exercise I mean).
To people who are in similuar situations, do you change our your bands almost twice a day (leather link to a sport band to back to a leather link in prep. for the following day)?
I know it takes only a few seconds but I would imagine it is inconvenient after a while, no?

I simply decided to only use bands that can be used in both situations. In my case the Sport Loop and recently, for the first time, the braided Solo Loop. I would love to use the Milanese Loop for example or the Link Baracelet, but I do sports almost every day and switching the bands twice a day is just too much of a hassle for me.

I typically stick with the sport loop but on occasion (perhaps once a week) will switch to a leather band. It’s no big deal.

I always used a Nike Sport band for everything, until recently when it started to hurt my wrist bone. I bought a sport loop (I think that's the correct term, one of the Velcro ones) and I swap it 2x a day now, before & after my runs. It's a little bit of a hassle, but you get used to it very quickly and then forget about it (or at least that has been my experience)

I change the band about 5-6 times a year. I keep an old version 4 for exercising in and my newer 7 for work or going out

I go through phases of keenly switching my band every day or two, and then get lazy and just leave a sport band on for days at a time. If I'm headed to the office or going out I will generally switch to a leather or Milanese but day-to-day tend to just stick to the sport band as then I can hike/cycle/shower with it without having to think about it.

I switch bands at least twice a week for work (stainless steel link - need something that goes well with a suit) and occasionally from leather to flouroelastomer (sport band) for the gym. All told, I probably change bands about 5-10 times a week, on average. I've been doing this since April 24, 2015. ??

I own the Hermes series 7, but realistically, day to day, I wear it with my handful of colorful sport bands.

Only wear Hermes leather bands when I go out or when I'm on a Zoom business call.

On average once a month, or slightly more often than that. I only wear sport loops, since i find them most comfortable. I have a Milanese band also, but only wear that to special occasions, as it is quite uncomfortable.

Usually twice per day - after exercise and in the morning. I like variety ;-)
Although.... that's normally also how often I change watches :p

I change daily or depending on what I’m wearing. As far as the exercise piece, yes, I change to a sport band or loop during my runs and back to the leather or Milanese if I have something else to do later. Sometime, I change just because I haven’t worn a particular band in a while.

I don't change bands all that often, maybe once every 2-3 months? I'm a sport loop kick now, so I'll probably rock that for the time being. But if I'm dressing up or going out, I'll change to the Milanese loop.

I imagine when I go back to the office in April, I'll be swapping bands more often.

Usually twice a day on most weekdays — put on one to do my workout in (sport band, sport loop or solo loop), then usually a different one to wear to the office. I like to try to match to the rest of my clothes for the day.

On weekends, I may just keep the same one on from my morning workout, or leave the one from the prior day if I’m not working out.

I agree with the previous poster. Absolutely grab a leather link band. They’re awesome and one of my favorite bands now.

I tend to go through stages where I favor one over the others. The braided solo loop is my main band now because I can wear it in almost every situation. The leather link is second. I will occasionally throw on my link band, a sport band or sport loop, but I’ve had those the longest.

I used to flip watches a good bit when I wore mechanical watches. Apple Watch bands give me the ability to freshen things up and try something new with it easily and for less than what watches cost.

I'm retired. But I change my band as the whim strikes me. I like to match what I'm wearing to walk the dog. I usually wear a braided solo loop. But if I'm going out somewhere or it's a special occasion, I might put on a 3rd party leather band or something fancier than usual.

Doesn't seem inconvenient to me, or at least no more inconvenient than changing in and out of workout clothes.

My main band is a Nike sports band and only change once a week or so. I'm retired and sure I'd change bands a lot more if I was still working!!!

Wow... To be honest, I'd prefer to never change the band. Only reason I've done it so far is trying various different ones to find one I actually liked that didn't make my skin break out. The black rubber band that came with my original "Sport" watch just didn't work well for me. Made my whole wrist itchy after I wore the watch every day for a week or so.

I had slightly better luck with the "Nike sport" version, later on, that had all the little holes in it. But ultimately the same issue.

The band that didn't give me any of those problems was a brown leather one I got cheap off Amazon years ago in trade for reviewing it. But I just don't care for the look of it - especially as the Apple watches have increased in screen size in newer revisions.

I also bought a grey Apple fabric band which I wore the most. It, too, seems to make my skin break out after a while though -- but less than the rubber ones did. Unfortunately, it's starting to look kind of tattered now. (The white plastic pieces on its edges are starting to yellow a bit and the grey fabric looks a bit dirty, despite trying to wash it with dish soap and water.)

I guess my next band should be a thicker/wider leather band? But those tend to = $'s and I hate to spend a lot on it and not have it work comfortably to wear the watch daily.
