Anyone have to deal with getting a replacements through these companies?

I can vouch for Anker and IXCC. Both companies will send replacements without any hassle or will they ask proof of purchase.

I stopped buying IXCC cables because I personally have had a lot fail on me. I stick with Anker because I have not had one cable (20+ cables) fail on me. The warranty issue I contacted them about was a their charging hub I owned for over 2 years and they sent me a replacement.

I've been using aftermarket cables from Anker, Spigen, RAVpower, etc and they all seem to hold up pretty good. Pretty much any major brand other than the OEM Apple cables are good.

I wouldn't agree with that. I've bought a lot of crap over the years from "MFi suppliers". I have found that many suppliers claim Apple certification but actually are not. Ask them to send you the screen shot from the Apple portal so verify if they particular cable is Apple certified. Most of the big brands are pretty solid but be careful when checking out a new brand. I've learned that each new cable a company offers must get its own certification and they will have access to the portal to provide you with that screen shot that I mentioned.

I actually use a slim cable also! The usb port is reversible and it is super long. You can find cheaper chargers on Amazon but you get what you pay for.

I avoid mono since they had their huge data breach a few years ago.

I however would 100% recommend Anker. I don't even use the new Apple cables that came with our 6S's. I have 5 Anker cables 0 issues.

Had no idea about a monoprice data breach, good to know. Anker was also very highly rated in the link I posted earlier. You really can't go wrong with either in my opinion

This was in 2010 or 2011. I had just purchased some HDMI cables. Next day the site was down. Had my CC compromised but they did give you a year free of fraud monitoring. But I haven't ordered from them since.

O wow I never even knew that happened. Thats crazy. Did your cc have any fraudulent charges or was it just comprised?

Yep fully compromised. In the same day I bought 10 games from steam, shoes in hong kong, and some unknown product in eastern europe. CC provider had it all reversed.

Looking back it was actually in 2010 but I have always been cautious with them now.

I use the Modal brand lightning cables from BestBuy. They light-up while charging and turn off when charging is complete.

Does it actually work? I used to buy these from china but they are not certified and would always break. I had some actually melt on me which was scary because it could have caused a fire.
