New Samsung 960 Pro NVMe M.2

I really hope that Apple offers this drive as an upgrade option with 512gb, 1TB, and 2TB for the same price 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB are currently. I'm want Apple to announce new Macs so bad I feel like a race horse waiting for the gate to open. Heck, I just want them to announce the date for their next announcement.

I'm likewise waiting for the new iMacs to appear, however, I'm not sure I want a Samsung Flash drive though.

I wouldn't be they arguably make the best SSD's on the market, but I'd rather see SM961's in the next imac instead of the 950 pro.

Apple seems to like proprietary drive designs and connectors.

Don't see them installing "off the shelf" units any time soon...

Apple's current Samsung-sourced "blade" SSDs use the same design and interface as these new ones.

The link I posted was to the new 960 Pros, which I assume would carry the SM960 or SM961 Apple designation.

I did notice that and it is taking all my strength to temper my excitement/expectations.
