Hello!

I am on holiday in Bulgaria for 10 days, and I realized how much I do want LTE support in the Netherlands for the watch.

Back home I always leave my phone when I go to the gym, or walk with the dog. I really like to not browse and consume information when I am out (yes I do lack the discipline to not touch my phone).
But it’s always nice to be “online” if somebody wanna drink a beer in the park spontaneously.

I have the iPhone 11, but I do miss the 8 regarding the size. I played around with the 12 mini, and that’s also nice, but for me it’s too expensive.

I really hope for some announcement, that the Apple Watch 7 will get LTE down in the Netherlands.
I will sell my 11 and SE watch, and buy the iPhone SE and new watch immediately.

My guess is this has far more to do with the carriers serving the Netherlands than it has to do with Apple.

Yeah, it goes both ways.
The carriers here don’t support this (yet) so Apple doesn’t sell them here.
So I am hoping that Apple will just announce this to come here, and then the carriers will follow.

edit: or the other way around ofcourse, first the carriers and then Apple starts with a LTE version here.
I truly hope for Apple , because I don’t want to have warranty in Germany with a LTE watch. But if I just have it here…. Perfect

It is very weird for a country like Netherlands, that no carrier is supporting this. In the end is juste sim + a web front for the enrollment. Was it Netherlands that was the last Western Europe contra to implement Apple Pay?

Reason I point at the carriers is there’s only a couple LTE versions being sold worldwide for the other AW models. One for North America + a couple nations and the other for nearly everywhere else.

One or the other ought to work in the Netherlands if the carriers would support it.
