Oh, another thing I have found that contributes a longer battery life. When your phone is charging and you notice it is at 100%, leave it on the charger an additional two hours. For some reason that's always helps increase battery life for me.

That's because when the standard Apple meter gets to 100% it isn't actually at the full 100%. The only way you know when the battery is truly charged is once the current is actually cut off. The phone will still usually keep charging for another half hour after it hits 100%. I use batterylife (jailbreak app) to see when my phone is actually full. I watch the voltage get to 4355mv and it stays there for a good 10-15 minutes then it cuts the charge and the voltage will drop a little and then you know it's full. When it hits 100 on the statusbar its never actually really full for another half hour on average. That's why you will see a little more usage when you leave it on the charger longer. Back in the iOS 6 and before days there was a little plug that would appear in the battery when the current was cut off. I wish they wouldn't have taken that out!

It takes around 10 mins extra for my 6+ to reach full charge once the 100% shows.

Right mine takes about that too for the apps meter to show 100% but even after it shows that I don't believe it's actually fully charged if it still shows that the battery is still accepting current. Once the "charging state" switches to "full" then I believe it's truly done charging and that usually takes another 30minutes or so when I'm using the phone. Probably less if I left it alone.

I recently removed that app after its latest update since it keeps resetting my usage stats! So now I just plug my phone it overnight and take it off in the morning and I've stopped having OCD over it!! Lol :)

Fair enough. I don't like leaving my batteries charging once they're full and use a timer socket. I plug my 6+ in at bedtime and dial in a 4-hour charge with the phone in Airplane mode.

Mine is getting killed lately, they added more radiation shielding to my work area and the cell signal is terrible, phone is burning lots of battery searching for a signal now :(

Yeah, unfortunately that will drain the battery quickly.

Using a Pebble and a stock ticker, I get enough improved battery life with primarily using the Pebble during working hours, and a signal slips through every few minutes, so i can still make it a work day without recharging.
