hi:
if anyone out there is really saavy with terminal, please help me out with this. would be great if you could show me exactly what and how i need to type in everything to get this done.
what i need to do is to copy a rsrc resource fork from one file to another which both reside in the same folder on my mac running 10.4.9
the good, healthy file is named:
QuickenNewData.qdfm (this is the file that i need to take the rsrc from and copy it into the following file listed below):
the bad file which needs the rsrc copied into it is:
Backup-11-27-2006.qdfm
i hope that someone knows how to do this and can help. I have critical data in that file and this is the only way to get the file to open in Quicken again.
please post here or email me direct with instructions.
thanks much everyone for any help on this... it is much appreciated!
Peace, mark~
