First of all I would like to apologize for my bad English.

But I have a problem with my iPhone 3G (not 3GS).

The 3G is very very very slow. I have an iPhone first generation as my work phone and the 3G as my personal phone and there is a significant difference in speed and normal function. I prefer the 2G to the 3G anytime because it is much quicker.

The 3G is unlocked and not jail broken and both are using the latest updates for each phone (3G 4.2.1)(2G 3.1.3).

What could be the problem?

The 3G is very very very slow on 4.x. The old hardware simply can't handle the demands of the newer firmware.
