Really thinking about changing providers and getting a 4S. Bad idea?

I'm not sure how the service is for either in NY, but as others have said go with the one that has the best service where you are. Most likely it will be either Verizon or sticking with AT&T, the one thing you might want to think about with sprint is that they are the one carrier that still has unlimited data, although it is slower.
