Someday, in the faaaar distant future, one of the million or so amazing magical geniuses in management at our finest tech companies will dream up the brilliant idea of a standard removable, swappable, spare battery. A full recharge in an instant. Minds will boggle. The world will not have been able to see it coming. The earth will explode in excitement. Everyone will live on the moon. Etc.
A swappable battery would require hardware in the phone to receive it. That would take up useful space inside the phone that could be used for other stuff.

Reminds me of a window fan

that is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. A external charger with a fan hahahahaha

It's been a thing in China for a while now. The reason being that people there waste their time playing games rather than posting useless comments on forums.

Lol you protectors of Apple always make me cringe. This is a good step for the industry who cares who copied who?

This is one step closer to removing the ports entirely from phones and moving to magnetic charging. Especially when that big one is equipped with a necessary but ugly fan
Just based off your tone in this post, I can tell that you would have been blasting Apple if they were the ones that released this.

I wonder how many of the people roasting this for having a fan are also the ones griping about Apple's MagSafe battery not charging fast enough. 🧐
I'm not sure the bulkiness of this "battery pack" is worth the trade-off of faster charging, if it can do that at all.

China has fans on their phones?

China has accessories with fans on, reducing the effects of heat on performance.

Example:

edit: and yes, there's one built into a phone:

I love the aesthetics of the fan - why not attach a hose and a bucket to collect the water? ;)
I’m tempted to laugh, but I’m wondering if a small fan may stop my iPhone screen from dimming when I use it for more than a few minutes while it’s charging.

Nope I wouldn't. I'm not emotionally attached to companies like you and many others here, I just enjoy the tech lmao

Yeah, no reason at all. The whole point of the battery pack is that you can keep using your phone freely as it charges, so it doesn't particularly matter if it takes 30 minutes or 60 minutes.

Yeah, stuff like charging circuity and the wireless-magnetic hardware.
Nah, that stuff doesn't take up much room. But it would mean a bigger battery.

I like wireless charging for my phone but I think MagSafe is a waste of time. I just want something to drop my phone onto at night.
