I just saw a video explaining that the rear glass break replacement is very difficult to do as you'd have to dismount everything from that panel. The video stated that it will cost around $500 to fix it and around $300 even if you have the Apple care +. This is very disappointing. I was planning to clear skin this phone but I fuel it'll have to go into a case.

I've always been of the mindset that if you are worried about actually dropping it, get a case. There is literally no reason not to, unless you have money to spare and and really want to rock it naked.

If you are moreso just trying to protect it from stratches and dings, or looking for more grip, you can go with a skin. I wouldn't recommend that if you're worried about drops though.

In my experience you're usually the kind of person who drops their phone, or the kind that doesn't. Things can always happen without you expecting it, even if you're careful, however over years and years of owning phones, I've come to the conclusion that that's a very rare occasion, and in my personal opinion, doesn't happen.

I'm definitely the kind of person who drops the phone. I've only broken two screens over many many years of iPhone ownage though. I just wish that an easily broken component would have been easier to replace.

Yes I remember reading that and that's what I assumed. I guess what this video says at around 3:54 mins is incorrect. Phew.
