My MacBook went on bluescreen last night and was trying to figure out a way to fix it. Unluckily, most of the fixes that I have read online requires rebooting and my MBA was stuck on bluescreen and can't reboot for some reasons - I even held the power button for 2-3 minutes but nothing happened. Bringing it to an Apple Store is my last option since I am living in an island here in the Caribbean. Everytime I open up the monitor/lid it is already on blue screen with mouse pointer - STUCK on that mode. Basically, Safe mode is not possible. Funny thing is that I can use the volume and dim control (F1, F2, F10, F11). I also tried draining the battery hoping it would reboot from the start but when I plug in the charger, it always brings brings me to the bluescreen mode. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
