Hello all,

Is there anyway to boot into windows directly from leopard? I keep the lid on my laptop closed and out of sight (so its hard to hold the option key when booting) and use an external monitor + USB keyboard (holding option on my usb keyboard doesnt seem to work)...

I know I can go from windows --> leopard but I cant seem to find a way to go the other way round???

Thanks all....

I haven't tried that software so that may work better for you, but without any extra software you'd have to go to system pref's>startup disk click on windows and then click restart, but that will set windows as the default OS

I believe the problem is that the user is turning his laptop on, then quickly closing it to let it switch immediately to the external monitor (I do this too, docking my laptop to make it a desktop when I'm home).

When booting OSX in this manner, the monitor will automatically switch to external.

If you try this with XP, you will lose all video. Windows doesn't seem to automatically switch to the external monitor when it boots with the lid closed. Opening and then closing the lid doesn't fix the problem, either.

Sorry, guy; I don't know of a fix for this.
