Since yesterday my AW has gone through my battery harder than normal after normal usage. I just got done talking to Apple Care who ran a diagnostic on the watch and battery and they said all is well. I also looked for an app in the app store that tells me my battery health is at 89%. The advisor said my watch was running through my battery harder because I have not rebooted my watch in weeks. So my advice for people here is to reboot your AW at least once a week to avoid the problem I had.

Doesn't that make you think though?
Why should that even be necessary?

These kind of anecdotal experiences don't really apply to people at large. You had an odd hiccup occurring, restarting your device fixed it. That doesn't mean everyone should go around restarting their devices willy nilly. Just do it if it's necessary, and if not then don't bother with it.

It's like, you saw a black cat cross the street, and then a pigeon sent a present atop your head. Should everyone therefore be on the lookout for black cats? Pigeons? Nope! :)

Humans tend to look for patterns, even when there are none valid to be found (the face of "Jesus" in toast etc); it leads to some pretty wacky conclusions being drawn at times.

Considering how long my S2 boots up, rebooting is the last thing I want to do on a regular basis.

I had a problem with my watch unlocking my computer. A reboot solved the problem. For me if you have a problem a reboot maybe one of the solutions that resolves the problem. But if you don't have a problem I see no reason to reboot.
