Rebuild Mac Completely

I would like to completely rebuild my MacBook following a bootcamp issue. I need to basically make it a new computer.

I need to remove the partition but do not know how (I deleted the partition which tells the computer what to do.

stick the install disc in, and use the disc utility to write zero's to the drive

Are you able to boot into Mac OS? If so, you can delete the Windows partition there. If you are talking about wiping the HDD clean and reinstalling Mac OS X, then insert the Mac OS CD, reboot, and hold down the "C" key as the computer starts up. 🙂

1. Insert OS X CD that came with MacBook;
2. Reboot;
3. Hold down C key when start-up chime plays;
4. Hold C key down until screens turns blue and you see a progress bar;
5. Once fully booted, navigate to "Install" menu > Disk utility;
6. Highlight you hard-drive (the drive and not any of its partitions);
7. Go to "Initialise" tab and hit Initialise.

This will completely wipe you hard-drive clean; you will loose any data you have not backed-up to a different medium/drive as well as all partitions.

8. Once initialisation is done, proceed to re-install OS X.

These 8 steps will give a MacBook as it would be straight from Apple.

Not quite sure where you're coming from... I have never used bootcamp!

From experience I know:
1) You can't partition/initialise the boot drive, ie to do anything to the internal HDD of the MacBook you need to reboot from the CD or an external drive
2) AFAIK you cannot add/remove partitions without initialising the drive. I believe Bootcamp allows you to add an extra partition without initialising the drive, but if it doesn't give you the option to remove said partition then you're in trouble (ie must use Disk Utility and initialise drive).

In any case make sure you back up any data stored on the computer.

Just reread your first post. What partition have you deleted, and how did you do it?
Also, does the MacBook still boot into OS X?
