Received confusing email about iPad 3G Purchase

    Hi Everyone.

    Ive been reading the forums for a couple of weeks now, but just recently joined the "family". In fact this is my first post.

    As much as I want to try and admit Im above the craziness of looking at my order status every 15 minutes . . . I cant. :D

    My wife pre-ordered the 3G 64gig on April 17th. My current order status is not yet shipped and shows a ships late April. While Im nervous about it not showing a prepared for shipment note, the forums have helped me feel confident that my iPad will still arrive on Friday.

    That was until today. I just received this email . . .

    The reason why this email is confusing is because I have not made a change to my order. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what may have prompted this email?

    Shipping tier possibly. It happened with the wifi only orders, maybe someone remembers the details.

    Just tried calling . . . they are closed. :mad:

    Despite the fact that the website says they are open until 11pm pst. :confused:

    I got an email exactly like that one when I updated the credit card number for my 3G IPad order back on 3/26.

    Did you go to your order status and look at the actual details? They probably just updated your shipping method and is notifying you the change.

    As long as your order status online looks fine.......it is.
