You sure you got the latest 2.96 installed? The update dropped only like 2 days ago. They even posted a screenshot showing the M3 Ultra sensors working.

If it is already the latest but still does not work, maybe get in touch with the devs so they can look into it.

I was on 2.96 with no luck. This afternoon 2.97 came out. All now works. They always deliver in short order. The M4 Max Studio is a delight!
