The G5 2.5 quad I purchased arrived today, 1 day ahead of schedule.
It was shipped yesterday the 25th from Los Angeles and arrived here on Vancouver Island today at 3:30 pm.
And this was FedEx economy ground.
And boy was it well packed.
Basically a solid block of poured in place expanding foam, done neatly in two separate halves.
This baby was not going to move.
First the just opened box, shows the top half of the pour.
Second, shows the top half removed and exposing the goodies.
And lastly the unit removed, exposing the remaining half of the poured in place packing.

Needless to say the G5 arrived in good condition and is now purring quietly on my desk.

Keep that packing material. It will come in handy if you ever need to move or ship that G5.

I'd already thought of that, it would be very handy if or when I decide to sell my dual 1.8 G5.

I also have two perfectly good ones now, this G5 quad has just replaced my dual 1.8 which is now sulking in the corner.
