not getting any haptic notifications to notifications that would normally appear (and are) on my lock screen of my phone. The main one I use for email notification is IPM pro, because it gives me my email in real time rather than the 15 mins for apple mail.... anyway I get a red dot notification but no ding or buzz from the watch eventhough it is appearing on the phone (the phone is locked).

Any ideas?

I do get text buzzes and dings so I know its working.

Someone else had this issue and solved it by rebooting the watch. Simple I know...Hope that works for you.

Also, make sure you have the proper notification settings for that app in the Watch app on your iPhone and that is set to mirror your iPhone settings.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I've rebooted the watch but still only get the red dot notification for the IPM email app, Twitter and Gmail. I do use apple mail and got the ding/buzz for a new email just not the 3rd party apps.
I've had a pebble watch for a while and get a buzz on every notification and was expecting the same on the apple watch.
Cheers

Hmmm, bummer....well, maybe with future updates from the 3rd party, it may clear up...all the best to you.

3rd party apps do give haptic feedback as well as displaying on screen and making a noise/ding. 100% works with WhatsApp for me. Don't use the apps you mentioned though, so can't comment on them.

Is it because the watch is

Not sure if I need to tweek any settings but is a bit frustrating at the moment.

Is it set to do a sound upon triggering? I'm not sure the haptics work if there is not a sound associated with the notification.

On your phone, try going to Apple Watch>Notifications, turn off and on the "Mirror iPhone Alerts" for the troublesome app.

If that doesn't work, go to (your iPhone's) Settings>Notifications>Your App Here, turn off and on "Allow Notifications."

I'm not sure if this will work for 3rd party apps, but it works for built in apps.

Unfortunately third party notifications can not be customized like the native stock apps. However all third party apps mirror the notifications of your iPhone. I would recommend checking what notification you have set for IPM pro on the notifications setting on your iPhone settings and see what you have set it to.
