finally received mine today from fedex only to open it to find the actual iphone box was not just opened but ripped everything was inside but still im sending it back, so strange to me.

iPhone 13 Pro Max received Opened iphone 13 max so disappointed

Always something with fedex. My pro max has been at the destination facility since last night. Still no movement. They caused issues 2 weeks ago with my watch delivery.
i will be hand delivering my Iphone 11 Pro to a nearby verizon store for my credit thats for sure once i get my 13 sorted out

I had the same issue with my 13 Pro Max. The seal was ripped off. I am in the process of returning it. I made sure to videotape the unboxing and showed every angle of the box so they knew that it was done before it got to me. Also they only had a thin piece of white paper over the phone box and no other kind of protection. They tried to get me to open the phone’s box to see if it the phone was damaged but I refused and requested a return.
Poor delivery is the main reason why I much prefer picking up expensive stuff on my own rather than letting it get delivered unless I literally cannot do that. Delivery company nowadays give much less than zero regard to the parcel they handle.
same mine had the white paper on it, good call with the video taping. So i wonder if Verizon is sending them out that way?
but all i want is the same phone so i am not sure why they would give me a hard time, i got disconnected 3 times today with a verizon agent so im just going into the store tomorrow.
Don’t waste your time going into the store. They just directed me back to calling them.
They are shipping with the paper, according to what one of the reps told me. I hope Verizon does a better job monitoring packaging to prevent these types of issues.
Fedex is weird AF, they also ask for ID when you ship with them. It is a private company, and even USPS does not require ID
When I received mine, the mailing box was perfect but one of the seals on the phone box was pulled away, not torn off, and my phone was half out of the iPhone box. I kept it as there was nothing wrong with the phone. I did make Apple aware that the seal on their box doesn't hold that well during shipping.
This year, they did not put any plastic sealing around the box as they are "environment friendly" company.
I don't mind no plastic on the box but I wish they would have made the rip away seals stronger. Of course, Verizon could have put more than one air pillow in the box.
Before sending it back check screen uniformity 🤣 might be a keeper. 😂
I think FEDEX started to ask ID because of that one incident that happen few years ago. Prior to that they never did.
i also thought it was odd that fedex just left the phone on the front step, i was not even home i thought i would have to sign for sure
I made 60+ calls to their facility and CS just to get my watch! It was a cluster!
That’s awesome! I had Verizon notate my account for them to take it back at store as well. Make sure that your restocking fee will be waived.
Do you think they have the right to do it? and how can they keep our info safe? I refuse to use Fedex. This is U.S. not China
I believe it’s within their right to do so if they feel that doing so would help protect their employees. Doesn’t matter if this is U.S or not.
